Tricia Kelly

Alexander Technique

Tricia became interested in the Alexander Technique many years ago and took lessons to see if it could help improve her balance. It did. It also helped her relax and maintain a good posture during pregnancy and labour.

Then life as a working mum got in the way of learning more until she took the chance of redundancy from her work in IT to undertake the three year full time training course and qualify as a professional teaching member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique.

Tricia now teaches 1-1 lessons in the Technique at Phoenix Place, as well as running talks and workshops around the area. She does not specialise in any particular application of the Technique, but works with young, old and anyone in between to help reduce pain, improve posture and enhance their freedom of movement whatever their level of ability or interests.
